The Kingwood Rotary Club and Texas Roadhouse Restaurant will sponsor the Gulf Coast Blood Donor Coach on Saturday, March 28 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Texas Roadhouse parking lot on U.S. 59N and Northpark Dr.
"Nobody ever asked me". This is the most common reason people give for not donating blood. You are invited to sign up or drop by Texas Roadhouse and bring a friend or two. In order to donate blood, you must be at least 17 years old, weigh 110 lbs. and be in good health or 16 years old, weigh 122 lbs. and have a consent form signed by the parent or guardian.
Kingwood Rotary Club members will be available to answer common questions about donor eligibility. The Texas Roadhouse is donating juice, rolls, and a free appetizer coupon to all the blood donors. Gulf Coast Blood Center is donating a “Commit for Life” T-shirt.
