Kingwood Medical Center an HCA Affiliated Hospital presents the 17th Annual Bridge Fest 2009. The theme for Bridge Fest is the YMCA is Wild About Giving

Bridge Fest began as a celebration of the opening of the Lake Houston Parkway Bridge, which links the communities of Kingwood, Atascocita and Humble. Net proceeds benefit the Lake Houston Family YMCA Partners Campaign.  The race this year is in memory of Howie Ryan, Race Director from 1999-2008.

LOCATION
Start and finish at the Lake Houston Family YMCA, 2420 W. Lake Houston Parkway.

COURSE
The course is a fast accurately measured USTA certified TX 9800 4ETM, 5K with only one turn, starting at the YMCA.  A medical aid station will be set up at the start/finish area and there will be water aid stations set up after mile 1 & 2 on the course.  Times will be called at each mile marker for racers. Race time and results coordinated by Ryans Race Management.

RACE DAY PARKING
The first 100 individuals and/or families to register will receive a parking pass to park at the YMCA (families will receive one parking pass). Other participants can park their cars along Lake Houston Parkway, Bens View, and Kings Crossing Drive, just north of the YMCA. Additional parking also available south of the YMCA on Magnolia Cove and the Kings Harbor parking garage.  Shuttle busses will be available from both locations.  Participants with parking passes must be in the parking lot by 7:00 a.m., no exceptions.

PACKET PICKUP & LATE REGISTRATION
Packets for those who register before Friday, February 6 will be available at the Lake Houston Family YMCA on Friday, February 6 from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm. Late registrations will continue up to 30 minutes before the start of each race event.
