On Thursday November 5th, the Kingwood Chamber of Commerce's Annual Toy Drive Lunch will be held at Second Baptist Church in Kingwood.

"This year the Kingwood Chamber of Commerce has elected to give our Toy Drive proceeds to three noble and local non-profit groups. All of which have felt the economic downturn. First, Society of Saint Stephens. Second, The Village Learning Center. Thirdly, Including Kids. Each group is in need this year, and each group has a unique need." said Kingwood Chamber President Sparky Nolan.  "It has become more and more apparent to me that it isn't just the Non-Profits that have economic pain this year. I can see many of you, our local businesses and friends, feel you can't afford to come to your favorite functions and gatherings due to new work constraints and new budgets.  A gift as small as a canned food is enough this year. Trust me when I say, it will make a big difference if you give something, even as it may seem small this year. Since all giving to Non-Profits are down, even your small gift will be a moral support to these worthy groups verses no gift at all.

This year's Toy Drive Lunch will include the annual table decorating contest along with wonderful entertianment and food prepared by Amedeo's & Raffas.

Time: Special Music and Toy Table Judging at 11:00 AM. The Program begins at NOON.
Why: We will be Ringing In the Giving Season once again.
