The dirt has been officially turned for Dr. Woody Barksdale’s new 6,000 square foot office building in Kingwood.

BEY Commercial Construction held their official ground breaking ceremony with the Kingwood Chamber of Commerce on January 20, 2010.  The new facility at 2606 Bens Branch in the Kingwood Town Center area will have eight operatories for Dr. Woody Barksdale and his new associate and nephew Dr. Neal Hastings.  Dr. Barksdale noted that some of his patients have been with them for 30 years and several of their staff members for over 20 years.  The addition of Dr. Hastings will allow the practice to be more acommodating for their patients.  "We are excited about a more central location and new diagnostic equipment including digital radiography." said Dr. Barksdale.

On hand for the ceremony was Kingwood Chamber President Sparky Nolan, Bill Bey of BEY Commercial Construction, Dr. Woody Barksdale and staff, architect Jack Cade, Jimmy Renfor of Midwest Dental and other chamber members and guests. 

2,500 square feet of the 6,000 square feet will be available for lease and is expected to be completed by July 2010.
